https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/262

The authority to adjudicate tax disputes in the tax court is currently technical-judicial guidance under the Supreme Court (MA) while in terms of organizational, financial, and administrative development under the authority of the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu), resulting in the independence and independence of the Tax Court is not objective. The purpose of the study was to juridically analyze the decision of the Constitutional Court (MK) regarding tax justice in Indonesia. The research method in this study uses normative juridical qualitative research methods with a statutory approach, historical approach, concept approach and comparative approach. The problem statement is 1. How are tax disputes resolved in Indonesia; 2. How to reform tax disputes in Indonesia after the decision of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Indonesia Number. 26/PUU-XXI/2023? The analysis theory uses the theory of justice which will analyze justice in resolving tax disputes before the enactment of the Constitutional Court decision, while the effectiveness theory will see the effectiveness of the court's work after the enactment of the Constitutional Court decision that must be carried out by the tax court. The conclusion of this study is that the settlement of tax disputes in Indonesia under the Ministry of Finance is considered less objective, less independent or less than providing a sense of justice in resolving tax disputes where tax handling by the state is represented by the Ministry of Finance and with the decision of the Constitutional Court No. 26/PUU-XXI/2023 can reform the tax court which is expected to be effective and provide taxpayer justice in resolving tax disputes. It is recommended for the two (institutions) of the state to coordinate and harmonize all provisions in the Tax and Justice Law within 3 years as mandated in the Constitutional Court decision and advised to the government and the House of Representatives (DPR) in revising the existing tax law. The war must end between two (2) institutions after the decision of the Constitutional Court No. 26/PUU-XXI/2023, in the authority to resolve tax disputes in Indonesia.
Yusuf Gunawan

https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/264

Durian peel waste which is difficult to decompose and not utilized properly has the potential to become a biological waste which causes environmental pollution. This research utilizes this waste to become bio-briquette as solid fuel such as bio-briquette using cassava peel flour adhesive. The implementation of this research consisted of 2 aspects, namely the manufacture of bio-briquette and testing of bio-briquette (technological aspects) and economic analysis (economic aspects). The aim of this study was to study the effect of the concentration of cassava peel flour adhesive and to study the effect of compressive strength on the characteristics of the resulting durian peel bio-briquette charcoal. Durian peel waste was first made into biochar by pyrolysis. Biochar was made into a slurry by mixing adhesive (with a concentration of 10, 15, and 20% of the total mixture. Then the mixture was put into a hydraulic press and pressed into a bio-briquette product. Bio-briquette products have potential applications in bioenergy production. The results showed that the best bio-briquette is bio-briquette at a compressive strength of 4 tons with an adhesive content of 20% by weight of biochar (Sample A3B4). The best bio-briquette characteristics include 31,39% volatile matter, 50,29% fixed carbon, 7,32% ash, 11% water, sulfur 0,116%, calorific value 5.856 cal/gr, relative density 0,65 g/cm3 and combustion rate 0,1035 gr/min. 2023-09-172023-09-175144Exploring the Invasive Potency of Salmonella Typhimurium ST313 in Animal Infection Models
https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/265

The enigmatic virulence of invasive Salmonella Typhimurium ST313 strains in various animal infection models. Often associated with severe septicemia in infants within sub-Saharan Africa, the ST313 strains have shown distinct genetic and phenotypic differences from gastroenteritis-related ST19 strains, leading to conflicting interpretations of their in vivo virulence. However, a remarkable finding emerged: BALB/c mice infected with ST313 exhibited substantially higher bacterial counts in their blood at 24 hours compared to ST19-infected mice, suggesting a potential difference in invasiveness between these strains. The researchers also explored dissemination patterns, tracking bacterial burden in organs over time post-infection. Notably, when Indian rhesus macaques were infected with ST19 and ST313 strains, the outcomes unveiled intriguing insights. ST19-infected monkeys displayed moderate-to-severe diarrhea, while their ST313-infected counterparts showed little to no diarrhea. This aligns with clinical observations indicating that ST313 strains do not typically induce diarrhea in infected individuals. The corroborative non-human primate results validate clinical observations, suggesting that ST313 strains generally evade causing diarrhea. This study not only bridges the gap in understanding the varied virulence of ST313 but also underscores the importance of animal models in deciphering the complexities of bacterial infections. As the landscape of bacterial pathogens continues to evolve, such studies provide crucial insights into the intricate mechanisms underlying infection dynamics and offer valuable knowledge for the development of effective prevention and treatment strategies.
Hasta Handayani IdrusYusriani MangarengiRasfayanah RasfayanahSyamsu RijalHermiaty NasrudinZulfitriani Murfat

2023-09-172023-09-175155Borax Compounds Tested at Permanent Meatball Shops in The Area of Bantaeng Sub-District using Qualitative and Quantitative Methods
https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/266

Meatballs are a food that has fans of various ages, from small children to adults. Currently, meatballs containing borax are very widespread on the market. Borax is added by manufacturers because it can function as a preservative and improve the texture of food. However, borax is a substance that is prohibited from being used in Indonesia because it can cause various diseases, such as central nervous disorders and disorders of the liver. Bantaeng sub-district is one of the sub-districts in Bantaeng District, South Sulawesi Province. Based on the results of observations, meatballs are quite popular with the people of Bantaeng sub-district. This is because there are many permanent meatball stalls that are frequently being visited by consumers.

This study aims to qualitatively and quantitatively analyze the borax content in meatballs sold at permanent meatball stalls in Bantaeng sub-district. The sampling technique used is random sampling, which is a type of probability sampling in which everyone in the entire target population has the same chance of being selected. The population in this study was all permanent meatball stalls in Bantaeng sub-district. While the sample used is permanent meatball stalls that are the best-selling or the most crowded in Bantaeng sub-district.

Qualitative analysis was carried out using the decomposition test, flame test, and turmeric paper test. The decomposition test is a test to observe whether there is a physical change in the meatball samples during the 3-day storage period. Parameters observed in the decomposition test included appearance, color, smell, and texture. The flame test is carried out to identify the presence of borax compounds by producing a greenish flame color if it is positive for borax compounds. While the turmeric paper test is a test using turmeric paper from turmeric extract. Turmeric extract can be used as a borax detector because it contains curcumin. The curcumin compound can decompose borax bonds into boric acid and bind it to a rose-colored complex (brownish-red), commonly called the borocyanine curcumin complex. So if it is positive for borax, the turmeric paper will turn brownish-red. Based on the results of the qualitative analysis, the five samples analyzed showed negative results for the three tests.

A quantitative analysis was carried out to determine quantitatively how much borax was contained in the meatball samples. Quantitative analysis was carried out using the acid-base titration method. Hydrochloric acid (HCl) solution will react with borax (Na2B4O7.10H2O) to form boric acid (H3BO3). This boric acid will react with sodium hydroxide (NaOH) to produce sodium metaborate (NaBO2) in the form of a clear, colorless solution. So it is necessary to add phenolphthalein as an indicator so that it can be visually observed to give rise to a pink color. The results of the quantitative analysis showed that there was one sample containing borax, but with a very small concentration of 0.0095%. Because this level is very small, close to zero, when tested qualitatively, it cannot be detected
Mega Fia LestariFadya Nur AnnisaRismul Trianto SalawaliSherly TowolioeHermin Hardyanti Utami

https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/269

This research is entitled Public Perception of the Halal Status of the Indonesian Ulema Council on Jco Donut Products in Indonesia. The goal to be achieved is to find out public perception of the existence of halal fatwas published by the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) on Jco donut products in Indonesia. To achieve this goal, the methodology used is qualitative descriptive research with data collection techniques through interviews (interviews) and literature studies (literature review). The results showed that the existence of halal fatwas on Jco Indonesia donuts showed different public responses or perceptions, including the following; First, the response of the community who became calmer and did not hesitate anymore in buying and consuming Jco donuts because of the official halal status of MUI. Second, the lack of public attention with the development of opinion that Jco donuts consumed are halal, and do not evaluate the truth of the information. The assumptions that develop in the community that Jco donuts do not contain ingredients and illegal processing methods are seen as one of the influences of the lack of community literacy culture in responding to information about the existence of halal status officially issued by the Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) on the 19th of the 5th month of 2023 and what attitude consumers must show towards the issuance of the fatwa. Third, the Jco Donut producers regarding the issuance of the MUI halal certificate fatwa are increasingly beneficial for Jco donut producers in gaining more consumer interest and will have implications for the increasing number of Jco Donuts enthusiasts in Indonesia.
Fauziah Ramdani

https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/270

In the Indonesian culinary world, meatballs have gained immense popularity and get a local name as “bakso”. Bakso comes in various dishes, such as meatball noodles or chicken noodles, and is often used as a mixed ingredient. Bakso is a meatball-shaped product made from animal protein, such as beef, chicken, fish, and shrimp. Bakso as food that is well kown in the community is a tool to solve the problem of stunting. Stunting is one of the serious problem that occurs in condition of growth failure in children under five due to chronic malnutrition. Stunting causes children to be shorter than they should be for their age, which is caused by malnutrition. Fish and fishery products have the potential to solve the stunting problem, one of which is fresh water fish. One of the freshwater fish that this research focuses on is Patin Fish (Pangasius sp.). This study uses two additional ingredients: carrageenan flour and moringa leaves in order to increase the nutritional value and appearance of the product . This study aimed to investigate whether adding carrageenan flour and moringa leaves affects Patin fish meatball’s nutritional content and organoleptic characteristics. This study used the experimental method of making Patin fish meatballs fortified with various levels of carrageenan flour and moringa leaves. The parameters tested included carbohydrate, protein, fat, water, ash, and multiple tests of appearance, aroma, taste, and texture. The ANOVA, Tukey, and Kruskal Wallis test results showed that the parameters were tested in fish meatballs with carrageenan flour and moringa leaves (Moringa oleifera L.). https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/272

A food can be said to be halal and permissible in Islamic law if the food is free from pork contamination. Pork contamination usually occurs in meat-based foods. Beef hamburgers and meatballs are foods made with meat as a base. This study aims to detect whether there is pork DNA contamination in beef hamburgers and pork DNA contamination in beef meatballs, chicken meatballs, and fish meatballs circulating in the city of Makassar using the PCR ( Polymerase Chain Reaction ) method. PCR is an in vitro DNA synthesis and amplification technique that is capable of producing results in a short time, has high sensitivity, and can be used for testing and DNA manipulation. This study used fresh pork as a positive control and fresh beef as a negative control, as well as 4 kinds of beef hamburger samples and 8 kinds of meatball samples taken from supermarkets and traditional markets. There are three stages in the PCR process, namely denaturation at 95°C, annealing at 50°C, and extension at 72°C. The amplification was carried out for 30 cycles, the PCR amplification results used a pig specific primer, namely cyt b gene which showed that of the four beef hamburger meat samples analyzed, it was suspected that there was contamination of pork DNA from one of the samples while the eight meatball samples circulating in the northern part of Makassar city were suspected There were two samples containing pork DNA, namely beef meatball b and fish meatball samples which were marked by visible bands in UV light on the amplification results. From the results of this study it can be concluded that it is necessary to carry out further testing of samples suspected of containing pork DNA.
Siti MaryamMuzakkir BaitsAsriani SuhaenahSerly Andesliah PutriMutmainnah Tahir

2023-09-172023-09-17511313Design of Chicken Processing Tools using QFD (Quality Function Deployment) and Anthropometry Approaches to Improve Chicken Halal Integrity
https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/274

Islamic Sharia requires consumers to consume products that are guaranteed to be halal and pure. Chicken, which is a type of animal that is halal for consumption, can become non-halal if its slaughter and handling do not comply with Islamic law. This research was conducted in several businesses selling broiler chickens in the city of Medan. From initial observations, it can be seen that several production activities can make chicken meat non-halal, especially in the process of stacking chickens in barrels after the slaughter process and before the boiling process. The aim of this research is to design processing tools at chicken slaughterhouses to maintain and improve the halal integrity of chicken meat. The initial design of tools for processing chickens was made based on the results of field observations using QFD and anthropometric approaches. Questionnaires were distributed to obtain product attributes and improvements from the initial design of chicken processing aids. The data from the questionnaire was then tested for validity and reliability and the final design of the chicken processing tool was obtained. Determination of tool size is determined using an anthropometric approach. The working system designed is that after the chicken is slaughtered, the chicken will be put into a chicken processing tool which can accommodate 10 chickens and there are 10 partitions in this tool so that the chicken is not crushed by other chickens. At the end of the chicken processing tool there is a valve that can be opened if the chicken has gone through an inspection process which aims to ensure that all the chickens are dead. Once the chicken is confirmed to be dead, the valve will be opened by sliding the hinge so that the chicken will automatically go straight into the boiling process so as to avoid the chicken dying from exposure to hot water. If chicken processing tools are applied at the chicken slaughterhouse, the chicken produced can be halal.
Nismah PanjaitanDini WahyuniNurhayati NurhayatiChairulsyah ChairulsyahSari Wahyuni

2023-09-172023-09-17512222Ammatoa Indigenous Communities in The Middle of Production Technology Advancement and Communication
https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/283

The Ammatoa indigenous community is a traditional group inhabiting the protected forest area of Kajang in Bulukumba Regency, South Sulawesi, Indonesia. This community lives harmoniously with nature, adhering to a way of life that involves nurturing the forest as a source of sustenance while practicing traditional agriculture. An intriguing aspect from a communication perspective is that the Ammatoa Adat community communicates verbally using a local language and wears all-black attire without footwear. In their daily lives, the traditional Ammatoa society strongly upholds their customs while intentionally distancing themselves from the influence of production and communication technologies. This study aims to understand the social structure of the Ammatoa indigenous community and their level of acceptance or rejection towards technologies that might bring about changes in their lives. The research employs a qualitative descriptive method with an ethnographic communication approach, utilizing in-depth interviews and participatory observations. The study draws upon the Social Construction of Technology (SCOT) theory and the Identity Negotiation Theory by Stella Ting-Toomey to explore how the identity of the Ammatoa Adat community plays a role in their interactions. The findings reveal that the Ammatoa indigenous community is open yet selective, utilizing technologies such as mobile phones, the internet, and other social media platforms as long as these do not disrupt their customs. In this manner, the Ammatoa Adat community strives to preserve their cultural identity by embracing changes selectively. Various social norms were also identified within their culture, such as prohibitions against pruning trees during flowering seasons, capturing animals during their breeding periods, and the obligation to plant trees for sustenance and environmental conservation. Consequently, it can be inferred that the Ammatoa indigenous community possesses a functional biculturalism ability, allowing them to transition between different cultures with ease. This capability empowers the Ammatoa Adat community to integrate into external cultures without compromising the essence of their sustaining customs.
Zelfia Zelfia

https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/288

Dramatic growth in coffee consumption across Indonesia underscores the promising future of the coffee industry, firmly establishing coffee as an integral part of the Indonesian lifestyle. Yogyakarta, a vibrant student city, stands as a prime example, boasting a bustling coffee culture with over 1200 coffee shops recorded in 2017, and this number continues to surge. In response to this proliferation, coffee shop proprietors have undertaken the strategic challenge of harnessing opportunities and thriving in a competitive market. To navigate this dynamic landscape, this research harnessed the power of data, sourcing responses through questionnaires distributed among students from various universities in Yogyakarta. The questionnaires employed a two-pronged methodology, utilizing both Association Rules and Clustering techniques. Association Rules, a potent data mining tool, delved into the vast database to uncover intricate relationships, while Clustering grouped students with similar characteristics into distinct clusters. The outcomes revealed four crucial rules derived from Association Rules, shedding light on the nuances of customer behaviors. Simultaneously, the Clustering process employed the K-Means algorithm to identify five distinct customer clusters, enabling in-depth profiling for each cluster's unique characteristics. Armed with these insights, businesses can effectively strategize their approach using the Marketing Mix method, focusing on four pivotal elements: Product, Price, Place, and Promotion. This comprehensive approach allows entrepreneurs to innovate their menus, tailor pricing to match student spending habits, select strategic locations with easy accessibility, and enhance customer engagement through promotions and unique menu offerings. In summary, the seamless integration of Association Rules and Clustering methodologies empowers coffee shop owners with invaluable insights into customer behaviors and traits, facilitating the formulation of data-driven strategies that leverage the Marketing Mix elements to enhance market positioning and elevate customer satisfaction within the coffee shop industry.
Mohammad Arsyad FathurrohmanJundi Nourfateha ElquthbKhairunnisa Nurul IstiqomaAnnisa Uswatun Khasanah

The ability to recognize new words in Maharatul Kalam learning, especially students with non-Islamic boarding school educational backgrounds, needs to be supported by learning media that can improve the ability to recognize and understand mufradat (vocabulary) and al sum (sentences). The results of observations and interviews show that the use of Maharatul Kalam learning media is still limited, which has implications for students' lack of motivation and curiosity in learning Maharatul Kalam, learning to speak Arabic which begins with an introduction to mufradat (vocabulary). This research develops flash dick media as an alternative media in learning Maharatul Kalam. Media in the form of picture cards which helps the right brain's ability to remember pictures and words as components, trains independence and increases the amount of vocabulary in a size that is adjusted to the size of the class at hand. The problem of how to develop flash card learning media in Maharatul Kalam learning for students of the Arabic Literature Department, Faculty of Letters, UMI? And what is the impact of using flash card learning media in Maharatul Kalam learning for students of the Arabic Literature Department, Faculty of Letters, UMI? https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/310

The aim of this research is different from previous research where the focus is on how halal certification is regulated for micro business actors, then what are the obstacles and constraints in implementing this halal product guarantee policy which is based on observing the response of micro business actors who also want to get services to be certified as halal for business products. they. From this research, it was found that the process of implementing halal certification arrangements, especially in Palopo City, based on data from the Halal Product Process Assistance Agency (LP3H), the halal center of the Palopo State Islamic Religious Institute (IAIN), to date can only serve micro business actors through halal certification via statements from the perpetrators. the business itself (self-declare) which is then verified by human resources (SDM) called Halal Product Process Companion (PPH Companion) who previously had the competence of LP3H as the leading sector of BPJPH on a provincial, district/city scale throughout Indonesia to inspect and verifying the materials and manufacturing process for micro business products through the integrated Online Single Submission (OSS) service "SiHalal" on the site (ptsp.halal.go.id). The implementation of halal certification services shown in this paper has real implications for fulfilling the mandate of the Halal Product Guarantee policy. The process and efforts made by the leading sector in the process of implementing halal business products have a strong impact on the strategy and projection of halal product process policies in the future because this analysis can be used as an indicator of the success of policy mandates that are running in society.
Dirah Nurmila SiliwadiMuhammad Fachrurrazy

https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/313

The research on functional food development is driven by consumers’ increasing preference for functional food. Fermented milk products, dominated by dairy milk, are starting to switch to plant-based milk. The issue of lactose intolerance in dairy products still matters among Indonesian consumers, which is one of the reasons for the development of plant-based milk. Apart from that, the issue of halal is one of the considerations of the Indonesian people, mainly Muslim consumers. The obligation to consume halal food in Muslim communities encourages the development of halal food research. This literature review aims to review fermented vegetable milk, namely kefir and yogurt, and the bacterial profile and health potential they produce. The most frequently used plant-based milks are soy and corn, with and without adding other ingredients. The bacteria most commonly found in fermented milk are Lactobacillus sp. Plant-based fermented milk has the potential to be a functional food because it can stimulate the immune response, increase mucosal immunity activity, and reduce cholesterol, obesity, and hypertension. In addition, adding other ingredients to manufacture plant-based fermented milk also has a positive impact, especially in maintaining milk quality. Plant-based fermented milk has the potential to be developed on a broader scale because it is free from the issue of lactose intolerance, which many people avoid. Apart from that, there are still opportunities to use other ingredients to improve the quality and physiologic function.
Nur Fa’iqDik Dik Sofyan SafariNurwulan Purnasari

https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/315

Along with the way of information technology development, companies nowadays can easily obtain, save, analyze, and interpret relevant data more significant and even cheaper. To get the understanding of consumer behavior and optimizing sales, a retail company could do everything to achieve their goal. Association Rule is one of the data mining methods that can determine the relationship between two things or analyze the relationship between two items when combined is Association Rule (Mohamad Fauzy1, 2016). In this study, data processing of product sales transactions at retail store R will be carried out as many as 50 customers receipts. The method used is Market Basket Analysis to see the association relationship (correlation) between a few sales attributes. The algorithm is using the Frequent Pattern Growth (FP-Growth) algorithm. This algorithm is used to generate item sets which will later be used to determine association rules. Support, which indicates the frequency of itemset in the dataset. Confidence, measures how strongly two things in a rule are associated. Lift Ratio, measures if a link within a rule is more significant than random chance. The figures presented provide a comprehensive overview of the initial layout of retail store R, as shown in Figure 1, and the corresponding assortment of goods distributed across different departments, as detailed in Figure 2. Following data compilation, there is an essential step in converting this data into binomial form to facilitate further processing and the extraction of valuable insights. Subsequently, sophisticated data analysis techniques, namely the Association Rules method and the FP-Growth algorithm, are applied within the RapidMiner software. This meticulous analysis yields valuable results, as depicted in Figure 3, revealing crucial information and patterns within the retail store's data, thereby assisting in informed decision-making and optimization of the store's operations. RapidMiner is a tool that can completely shows many coefficients needed to explain information contained in the data. Here, coefficients like support, confidence, and lift ratio are results chosen. Support explains how likely a certain relationship between two events occurred, while confidence is a coefficient that bolsters the relationship. This research uses a minimum support value of 0.1 to eliminate weak relationships between events. Events that have a lift ratio that no more than 1 are also being eliminated. Customers unconsciously tend to buy products that has a similar scent, this behavior showed by retail customers generally. From the results obtained, it can be seen that ritel store R does not really have a problem with the layout of items. It can be seen from the results obtained from RapidMiner software that the combination of products purchased, and matched with the existing layout in the retail store. Although some layouts are not close together this is not necessarily a bad thing. Placing products far apart makes it easier for customers walking through other aisles to seeother items.
Ar-Royyan Utama TanjungAnggun Galuh Puspita Ningtyas

2023-09-172023-09-17515454Application of Association Rules-Market Basket Analysis through Sales Transaction in Retail NF
https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/317

In the era of industrial revolution and technological advancements, society is pampered with the presence of various shopping centers. The proximity of these shopping locations provides various options for customers to visit, but this leads to intense competition among businesses. One of the shopping destinations is Retail NF, a retail center that provides daily necessities, especially for families and students. In its operations, Retail NF prioritizes customer service and comfort. Therefore, to maintain and enhance customer loyalty, Retail NF needs to create a marketing strategy that involves the application of Association Rule Market Basket Analysis to understand customer shopping behavior patterns. This research aims to identify associative relationships among item purchases at Retail NF and find marketing strategy solutions to increase the sales. This research was conducted at Retail NF with 12 product departments. Data collection was carried out for 7 days from September 13th to September 20th, 2022. A dataset of 50 consumer shopping receipts was used, which had undergone pre-processing data and was subsequently processed using the Rapidminer software. By employing the AR-MBA method, the minimum support value used by the researcher is 10%, and the minimum confidence required in this study is 50%. Four rules meeting the criteria for valid association relationships have been identified. Department 2 (snacks) will be purchased together with department 4 (drinks), with the confidence level of 68% and supported by 26% of the overall data. Department 6 (toiletries) will be purchased together with department 2 (snacks), with the confidence level of 71% and supported by 10% of the overall data. Department 7 (bread) will be purchased together with department 2 (snacks), with the confidence level of 71% and supported by 10% of the overall data. Lastly, department 3 (cigarettes) will be purchased together with department 4 (drinks), with the confidence level of 77% and 14% of the overall data. The Association Rule-Market Basket Analysis revealed valuable insights for Retail NF in creating more effective marketing strategy. The results highlighted strong associations between snacks and drinks, as well as cigarettes and drinks, suggesting the promotion of product bundling opportunities. However, the associations involving toiletries and bread were supported by less data but still significant and can be enhanced by applying shopping coupons. A layout redesign for the store shelves is needed to address the observed simultaneous purchase of items from non-adjacent departments. The marketing strategy can leverage these associations for increased sales and customer loyalty. Limitations stem from the short data period, necessitating an extended analysis to capture seasonal trends and assess association stability. From the results of four association rules obtained and the analysis of consumer behavior, the recommended marketing strategies given are changing the layout, making shopping coupons, and promoting product bundling.
Nada Putri FauziyahPrita Nurkhalisa MaradjabessyRidho Muzaik Ramadhan

https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/322

Indonesia is the fourth longest coastline in the world, but the vastness of Indonesia’s coastlines does not guarantee that Indonesia’s salt needs are met. Indonesia still imports salt for consumption and industrial purposes. Salt production in Indonesia is mostly carried out conventionally using the evaporation method in salt ponds by salt farmers. The disadvantages of this method include the high level of air humidity and the short dry season in Indonesia as well as the limited land area for salt ponds. As a result, the production process takes quite a long time, the quality of the salt produced is low and the production quantity is less than optimal. In the process of evaporation of water in salt ponds, the area of mass transfer is only as large as the area of the pond. In order for the evaporation process to run quickly, a larger surface area for water evaporation is required. The use of water-absorbing materials arranged regularly using the immersion method in salt ponds can increase the mass transfer surface area so that salt production is faster. This research is intended to provide solutions to salt farmers in increasing the productivity and quality of the salt produced by an innovation to increase the surface area in the pond evaporation process by immersing a halal natural water absorbing materials into the ponds. The aim of the research is to carry out surface area tests on a laboratory scale prototype of a traditional salt pond equipped with water-absorbing media from a halal natural material. The seawater raw material used for the research was obtained from a pond owned by a partner salt farmer from Jeneponto Regency. The results showed that the addition of water absorbing media significantly accelerated the evaporation of the brine. The greater the evaporation surface area, the faster the evaporation process will be. This may result in the increase of salt production.
Setyawati YaniSyamsuddin YaniRifani Rabiatul Adawiah

https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/323

Along with the depletion of fossil-based fuel reserves, alternative fuel sources are needed, especially renewable fuels. Biomass and biomass waste are fuel that are abundantly available in Indonesia, however they require a process to improve their quality. One method commonly used to improve the fuel quality of biomass and biomass waste is pyrolysis method, especially slow pyrolysis method. Pyrolysis is performed in a reactor with certain temperature operating conditions which is expected to have an even level of temperature uniformity in the reactor. One thing that can be used to maintain uniform temperature of the materials in the reactor is by using a heat insulator. The aim of this study was to observe the temperature distribution in a fixed-bed pyrolysis reactor made of stainless steel which is used to pyrolyse waste biomass. This study is intended to demonstrate the characteristics of the heat transfer system and temperature distribution in a pyrolysis reactor equipped with a heat insulator. The study showed that the heat insulator could help to keep the uniformity of the temperature for a pyrolysis process of a waste biomass. This is an important part as a reference in designing a reactor that works more efficiently
Syamsuddin YaniSetyawati YaniBrian Yozha Ramadhan

2023-09-172023-09-17516262Improvement of Layout and Design of Sales Strategies at OPQ Minimarkets using the FP-Growth Algorithm
https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/325

The existence of shopping centers in the community certainly positively impacts human livelihoods. Indirectly, it helps and facilitates people in fulfilling their daily needs. On the other hand, shopping center management faces challenges to advance their business. One way to survive and compete is by implementing the right marketing strategy. In designing these strategies, it is necessary to have information related to the purchasing habits or patterns of products carried out by customers. This information can be historical purchasing data at a shopping center. This data or information will make purchasing patterns and association rules between purchased items known. Then, once the output is known, interpretation will be conducted for marketing strategy improvement and enhancement. This research aims to determine and identify association rules or combinations of items purchased by customers at the OPQ minimarket. Data was collected using a questionnaire, and 50 purchase transaction data were gathered. The data was processed using the AR-MBA (Association Rules-Market Basket Analysis) approach to discover rules and item combinations. The algorithm used was FP-Growth, which played a role in identifying purchasing patterns that frequently occurred in the 50 customer transaction data. Data processing was performed using Microsoft Excel to categorize product departments and transform the data. The categorization of departments formed a total of 13 departments, which facilitated data analysis. The process continued using RapidMiner to identify patterns or association rules. Afterward, suitable and valid association rules were determined based on confidence, support, and lift ratio values. The results obtained from the data processing using the FP-Growth algorithm revealed the formation of several association rules and inter departmental decisions. Specifically, three association rules were established, indicating that items in these departments are often purchased together. This was substantiated by confidence values ranging from approximately 50% to 72%, falling into the reasonably good category. Furthermore, the support values went from 10% to 16%, providing sufficient support for these rules. These established rules are considered valid because they have a lift ratio greater than 1. In one of the association rules formed, a connection or item combination exists between Department 1 (Spices and Condiments) and Department 2 (Food and
Snacks). This suggests that there is a high likelihood, around 72.7%, that customers will purchase both items together, with a support value of 16%. It is known that the established rules benefit the sustainability of sales at the OPQ minimarket. These results are a benchmark for improving the layout and designing marketing strategies. Improvements to the layout of the OPQ minimarket include bringing two departments closer together and creating a customer flow that allows them to pass through specific departments. Furthermore, for sales strategy design, bundling products can be completed at a relatively low price, targeting products that are less popular but are appealing when combined with other products. Additionally, discounts or price reductions can be offered to increase customer loyalty. Based on the processed customer transaction data, several conclusions have been drawn that can be applied by the management of the OPQ minimarket. The fundamental aspect of layout improvement and marketing strategy design is derived from the association rules or relationships among items purchased by customers. For layout improvement, consideration can be given to association rules with high support and confidence values. Meanwhile, the importance of support and confidence can also be considered for sales strategy design, but they can be adjusted according to the actual conditions in the mini market.
Igoh Satria Futra PratamaJundi Nourfateha ElquthbQurtubi QurtubiIra Promasanti Rachmadewi

2023-09-172023-09-17516464Efforts to Preventing the Risk of Mental Workload using the NASA-TLX Method for Woodworkers
https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/327

By relying on several advanced technologies and other automation systems, the development of the Industry 4.0 revolution brings changes to the industrial sector in Indonesia. One of these changes occurs in the production sector, where the process allows for alterations in activities or work cycles. This is common in all workplace environments due to the workload imposed on workers exceeding their capacity at PT. X, a Veneer Preparation stage significantly affects the quality of the produced plywood. Therefore, this process requires high concentration and precision during its execution. The demands for attention and accuracy that must be met are two crucial factors influencing the mental workload of workers. Such conditions can adversely affect the stability of the company's productivity levels and the mental well-being of its employees. Hence, further investigation into the mental states of the workers is necessary to take action by implementing the proposed recommendations for the company's benefit. The data obtained consists of weighting results and ratings given within a range of 0-100. It will then calculate product values by multiplying the weight values by the rating values. Table 1 shows the summarizes the weighting, ratings, and product value. The next step involves calculating the WWL by summing up all the product values obtained for each operator. Then, to get the mental workload score, it calculates the average WWL by dividing the WWL value by the total number of comparisons. Table 2 shows the results of the grouping of mental workload scores. Based on the results of the mental workload calculation using the NASA-TLX method, it can be observed that all operators received scores in the moderate category, which are 48.6, 51.67, 49, 49, 44, and 58.33. Most operators received the highest ratings in the Effort (EF) indicator, which is attributed to the manual nature of the work and the considerable effort required to complete the tasks. On the other hand, the lowest ratings were found in the frustration level (FR) indicator, as the level of frustration among workers is generally relatively low. This is due to the physically demanding nature of the work, which only sometimes involves complex mental considerations. Based on the calculations and analysis conducted, the measurement of mental workload can be carried out in two ways: objectively and subjectively. In the calculations using the NASA-TLX method, it is evident that all operators fall into the moderate category. These values can be influenced by both external and internal factors, such as the physically demanding nature of the work, workplace facilities and infrastructure, and the need for improved work motivation. Therefore, recommendations that can be made include: Maintaining workload distribution, Paying attention to the facilities and infrastructure used in the repair and selection unit, Motivating employees and Conducting regular checks of employees’ mental workload to control it effectively.
Hanif Maulana AlbarLulu Riesta NugrohoGisya Amanda YudhistiraQurtubi Qurtubi

2023-09-172023-09-17516666Halal Industry as an Opportunityand Growth Potential Sustainable Sharia Economy
https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/329

Indonesia is the country with the largest Muslim population in the world, namely 87.2% of Indonesia’s 270 million population, which is 13% of the entire Muslim population in the world. With such a large number, the need for halal products in Indonesia is very large. Therefore, Indonesia is referred to as the embodiment of the world halal industry market. The halal industry has a strategic role in improving the economy. Therefore, it is very unfortunate that the potential of the halal industry in Indonesia has not been fully exploited. Data in the field shows that there is still very little output from the halal industry in Indonesia. The halal industry should have a significant impact on national economic growth. The government in this case has provided a cluster for the halal industry. The halal industry clusters are: Food and beverages; Tourism, Fashion, Media and recreation, Pharmacy, and cosmetics. The problem is that Indonesia, as a population with a Muslim majority, is still unable to make Halal products the main source of economic commodities. There are still products that have not received halal certification which are widely circulated in the community. This makes a gap between the majority of citizens and the growth of halal products on the economic growth of the Muslim community. This research aims to see the economic growth capacity of Muslim communities with the number of producers and consumers who are the majority of citizens in Indonesia. This research uses quantitative methods by examining more deeply the economic growth of communities dominated by Muslim communities on national economic growth. The hypothesis is that the economic growth of the Muslim community should dominate the growth of the national economy. This is because the majority of citizens in Indonesia are Muslim people who are obliged to produce and consume only halal products. The research tool used for decision-making is Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). In addition, to assess the economic growth of the majority of citizens, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats (SWOT) measurement tools are used for internal analysis (strengths and weaknesses) and external analysis (opportunities and threats). The expected results of this research are: determining the opportunities and potential for halal economic growth to support national economic growth.
Muhammad NusranVerawaty VerawatyIsmawati IsmawatiKamaruddin ArsyadAgus Kusumaramdhani

https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/331

One important aspect in the teaching and learning process is teaching materials that provide various exposures to authentic language use that include various activities that will help students to participate in meaningful communication where they use language to achieve the desired results in the aspect of communicative competence. The aim of this research is to find out the lecturers' views on the development of paragraph writing teaching materials in the English Language Education Study Program. The research design used a qualitative descriptive approach with the research subjects being 48 lecturers from the Faculty of Letters from six study programs. In collecting data, questionnaires were sent to all lecturers via Google Form but only 16 respondents responded. Based on the Google Form analysis of the 16 respondents, it shows that in order to achieve the learning objectives at each face-to-face meeting, respondents generally emphasized giving assignments, such as reviewing material, questions and answers, and various other assignments when lectures had started, then giving assignments when learning is ongoing, and assignments are given at the end of the lecture. Giving these tasks in the hope of preparing the learner’s brain with what they already know about the material to be studied and connecting it to previous knowledge (perhaps we have heard or read the material we will discuss before), as well as being able to predict things. That will be included in the lesson. Apart from the above, the aim of giving assignments is to understand the key words in the discussion material and to store in long-term memory what has been learned.
Muhammad YunusSitti HalijahBaharuddin K

2023-09-172023-09-17517272The Power of Words: Motivating Secondary Students using Positive Reinforcement
https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/335

Motivation is a significant thing for every student to acquire enthusiasm for learning. Successful teachers are teachers who have the ability to foster the spirit and motivation to learn (Karwati, E., & Priansa, 2013) . There are two factors influence each other in the learning process so that to produce effective learning. Internal factors include; physiological/physical factors and psychological factors, while external factors include; family factors and school factors. Since the last two years students have become familiar with online learning, students have become less active in conveying their aspirations and thoughts, which can lead to boredom in learning because they usually look for material on the internet and so on. Therefore, it is necessary to provide reinforcement so that students are enthusiastic in learning. The researcher used a qualitative method in this research. This research was started in March. The subject of this research was class X Mipa 2 which consisted of 36 students. The instruments of this research are an observation checklist, questionnaire and interview. To find out the results of the questionnaire, the researcher analyzed and collect the data that was collected based on the Likert scale level. Based on the results of the research in the findings section, it shows that the intensity of positive reinforcement given by the teacher to students of class X MAN 1 Makassar in the form of face-to-face learning is very high because the average score is 64.25 from the two meetings. In both meetings, here were 2 indicators of verbal reinforcement and 4 indicators of non-verbal reinforcement appeared. From the verbal side, reinforcement is in the form of the words: very good; good; smart; all right; good job, and the sentences: yes, very good answer; I am satisfied with your answer; and you succeeded, was given by the teacher at both meetings. While from the nonverbal side, reinforcement in the form of gestures (smiles, thumbs up, applause), contact (patches on the shoulder), activity (giving games), and tokens (additional points) were also given by the teacher. These results are relevant to previous research conducted by Pratiwi (2018) who found that the intensity of rewards given by teachers is included in the form of face-to-face learning. The result showed that students were highly motivated in learning English toward the positive reinforcements given by teacher since the result of the mean score was 58.9. This result is relevant to the statement of (Uno, 2016) "extrinsic motivation arises because of stimuli from outside the individual such as a teacher”. Also, it is supported by the statement that the main goals of using positive reinforcements in the learning activity is to encourage the students to repeat the good behavior that they have done and that would be useful evidence for them and also for the class (Sari, 2019). Based on several theories above, the researcher concluded that giving positive reinforcement is very important to encourage students to learn and attract attention so that they are more enthusiastic about learning. The teacher’s intensity in giving positive reinforcement was categorized into very high which resulted that students were highly motivated. It caused by the teacher’s awareness of their roles as the source of extrinsic motivation for the students. The teacher focused on giving positive reinforcement especially giving praise at every meeting and the additional score for students who actively participate in learning which it may improve students’ motivation.
Musfira HidayatSulastri SulastriAwaluddin Syamsu

2023-09-172023-09-17517474Learning English through Qur’an; Improving Students’ Vocabulary Analysis by Color Coding the Surah Ash-Shams’ Translation
https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/337

Authentic material is material taken directly from sources found in daily life that are not made for pedagogical purposes. Sumarsono (2018) has previously implemented the concept of authentic content for ELT. Since the Noble Qur'an has been translated carefully, he recommends a strategy for teaching and studying reading that uses the English translation of the Holy Qur'an as a trustworthy source of real learning materials. Methods and materials that are suitable for student circumstances are required to fulfill learning objectives, especially in ELT. Thus, students will put what they have learned into practice so that the learning process can be carried out well. This study was conducted to determine the effect of the color-coded text of surah Ash-Shams in improving students’ vocabulary analysis. The study was conducted by applying a descriptive quantitative method with a Pre-experimental design. In collecting the data, the researcher used written tests and questionnaires as research instruments. Written test which was pre-test and posttest aims at finding out students’ improvement in analyzing the vocabulary. While questionnaire was used to aim students’ responses about the color-coding method. The results of this study showed a significant increase in students’ vocabulary analysis after being treated with color coding translation of surah ash-shams, this is evidenced from the significance value of 0,017 is less than 0,05 where the mean score of the pre-test was 36.4 while the post-test was 52. It was also found that all students agreed that the use of the color coding method made it easier for them to sort and distinguish word classes. On the other hand, the use of the surah Ash-Shams’s translation is beneficial on the religious side where students can get closer and more familiar with the Qur’an. So this method is very suitable to be applied in ELT classes at Islamic-based educational institutions such as MTs, MTsN, Islamic Boarding Schools, and so on. Sumarsono (2019), the use of the English translation of the Holy Qur’an has two crucial roles, in the development of knowledge (students’ vocabulary analysis) which has been described previously, and also in the development of faith by reading the translation of the Holy Qur’an frequently which is a good deed. In vocabulary analysis, 8 parts of speech need to be analyzed that is verb, noun, adjective, pronoun, conjunction, adverb, interjection, and preposition. For the research to be effective in a short time, this research is limited to 4 parts of speech that is verb, noun, adjective, and pronoun. For future research, it is recommended to increase the intensity of meetings and use a higher-level population such as university students. Students’ vocabulary analysis improved by color coding the surah Ash-Shams’ translation. This can be proven from significance value of 0,017 is less than 0,05. In addition, it was found that most of the students gave positive responses to the use of the color coding method in analyzing vocabulary. The students agreed that it ease them in distinguishing the word classes. Students can more easily learn to read and highlight teaching materials with color coding.
Athiyyah MutammimahAwaluddin SyamsuHadijah Hadijah

2023-09-172023-09-17517676Halal Sustainability: Assessing Community Perceptions on the Implementation of ‘No Plastic Bag Everyday’ Intervention as an Approach to Tackle Single-use Plastic usage in Brunei Darussalam
https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/339

Plastic waste, particularly single-use plastics, has been identified as one of the issues that the Government wish to tackle and resolve. Despite having the ‘No Plastic Bag Everyday’ (NPBE) initiative to eliminate single-use plastic in participating stores by 2019, Brunei Darussalam continues to produced 29 percent of plastic waste of some 229,496 tone of disposed landfills materials in 2021, making it as the second top waste composition in landfills. This study aimed to evaluate community perceptions on the implementation of the NPBE intervention, to minimize the dependency on the limited non-renewable resources and encouraging communities to improve the nature, environment, and plastic waste management as an approach to promote Halal Sustainability in Brunei Darussalam. A cross-sectional descriptive study design was conducted on 200 local Bruneians utilizing an online questionnaire through Google Forms, distributed via WhatsApp. Descriptive statistical analyses were performed using SPSS to describe the characteristics of the
respondents as well as their perceptions. The findings indicate that the participants responded a variety of justifications for their frequent usage of plastic bags. Although many respondents claimed they begin implementing NPBE, with a total of 149 (74.5%) mainly when shopping in large grocery stores, but majority (105 (52.5%)) of the respondents also stated that they use 5 to 10 disposable plastic bags, and 57 (28.5%) use more than 10 disposable plastic bags per week for different purposes. Accordingly, 168 (84.0%) responded that one-time plastics are cheap, 147 (73.5%) responded that plastic bags are light and convenient to use, 93 (46.5%) use them due to lack of alternatives. However, almost all respondents, 196 (98%) support NPBE implementation to reduce single-use plastic bags, 98 (49%) support a ban on single-use plastic bags, and 156 (78%) were willing to pay for alternative bags. In Brunei, plastic bags are the most often used plastic items, and this trend is rapidly expanding. The primary factors are the simplicity of single-use plastic and their accessibility for free or at a low price, as well as a lack of sustainable plastic bag alternatives. These disposable plastic bags wind up in public spaces, resulting in plastic pollution. However, the majority of research participants would cease to utilize single-use plastic bags if inexpensive substitute bags were offered. This encouragement promotes the use of more environmentally friendly and sustainable alternatives to plastic shopping bags. Brunei communities are aware of the environmental issues brought by the extensive usage of single-use plastic usage, as well as the waste they produce and the need for substitutes. They also recognized the NPBE implementation as a potential solution to curb plastic pollution in Brunei Darussalam. However, until inexpensive and eco-friendly alternatives are offered, it will continue to provide serious environmental difficulties.
Nabilah Ulfah Mujib

2023-09-172023-09-17518282Jakarta Air Pollution
https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/346

The declining air quality in the capital city of Jakarta is currently deeply concerning. Besides disrupting daily activities, it also poses health risks and diseases for both the local population and all of Indonesia. In addition to natural factors, human activities play a pivotal role in this case, with vehicle emissions and industrial manufacturing ranking as the top contributors to air pollution. According to the statement by the Minister of Environment and Forestry (LHK) Siti Nurbaya, motorized vehicles are the leading cause of air pollution. In her records, there were 24.5 million motorized vehicles in 2022, with 19.2 million of them being motorcycles. The potential health impacts on humans include respiratory problems, heart complications, and hypertension. In addition to the scarcity of green spaces, a lack of public awareness is a significant factor contributing to this issue. Rampant development by the government, often at the expense of green areas, has left some regions barren. This, in turn, makes them susceptible to natural disasters when they occur. The importance of awareness in such a situation is the key to minimizing the pollution levels in Jakarta. Implementing restrictions on private vehicle use, promoting public transportation, and expanding green spaces can be reliable and guaranteed solutions in this regard.
Andi Fajaruddin

Indonesia is a country where the majority of the population is Muslim. This can actually be a potential for Indonesia to develop the halal product industry, especially in the food sector. Halal food is food that does not contain elements or items that are haram or prohibited for consumption by Muslims, both regarding food raw materials, food additives and other supporting materials, including food ingredients processed through genetic engineering and food irradiation processes. Halal food is a food product that has been declared halal in accordance with Islamic law. The forms can vary from animals, fruit, vegetables and other plants, unless there is a hadith or explanation in the Koran that explains the prohibition. The halal food process includes providing ingredients, processing, storing, packaging, distributing, selling and serving products. Halal food products must be protected from contamination with unclean things, such as faeces, urine or other substances considered unclean in Islam and accompanied by good food safety. Food safety is the conditions and efforts needed to prevent food from possible three contaminants, namely biological, chemical and other contaminants that can disturb, harm and endanger human health and do not conflict with religion, belief and community culture. In the current era, there are many foods that are popular with the public but their halal qualities are ignored. Based on several studies, among the factors that influence consumer halal awareness are: trust and religiosity, identity, marketing components, and halal guarantee labels. This research tries to look at a number of factors that influence halal awareness and the development of halal products from a food safety perspective in urban communities. For this reason, high security is needed, so that Muslim communities in Indonesia consume halal food products, considering that Indonesia has the largest Muslim population in the world who should be the leading halal industry developer.
Sindi AntikaLisa AlfianitaAdeniar RusliMuhammad Nusran

This applies to social issues as well, including cases of corruption and unethical behavior among organizational leaders within the public sector. However, there is a lack of research that investigates the role of ethical and transformational leadership styles within government offices. This study explores how leadership styles (such as ethical and transformational leadership) influence employee creativity, which in turn affects the job satisfaction of Indonesian government employees. The sample consists of 427 government employees in the South Sulawesi province. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was employed to test the research hypotheses. Empirical results indicate that ethics have a positive and significant influence on employee creativity. Meanwhile, transformational leadership plays a lesser role in this context. This marked a remarkable increase of 54.9% from the previous year. China is emerging as an important market, accounting for 12% of Malaysia's total halal exports. This collaboration aims to facilitate easier and more efficient Malaysian halal exports. Products to China drive growth and greater collaboration in the halal trade. Both the business world and consumers will benefit from this strategic move. So what about Indonesia, which is the largest Muslim country in the world, in playing the role and developing the halal industry as the epicentrum of growth which is very enlightening. The data shows that Indonesia has great potential to become the epicenter of the growth of the global halal industry. https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/376

The concept of locus of control represents an individual’s belief regarding the origins of events affecting them, constituting a facet of their personality. This research aimed to explore how three factors—locus of control, learning orientation, and workplace environment—jointly influence self-efficacy. The study collected primary data via a survey method, encompassing 45 employees with a minimum tenure of one year as of December 2022. Data collection spanned from December 2022 to February 2023, with analysis conducted using the SPSS24 software. The research employed multiple linear regression analysis, validating and ensuring the reliability of the data, while also testing classical statistical assumptions. Hypothesis testing involved F and t tests, comparing calculated results with statistical tables. The findings indicate that locus of control, learning orientation, and workplace environment collectively impact self-efficacy, suggesting that enhancing these aspects can bolster one's confidence. Additionally, each variable—locus of control, learning orientation, and workplace environment—exhibited a significant individual influence on self-efficacy. Proper management of each variable can foster heightened levels of trust. Furthermore, the analysis suggests that learning orientation plays a predominant role in influencing self-efficacy among the three variables studied.
Dahyka BaharuddinBaso AmangMasruhi Kamidin

https://conference.umi.ac.id/index.php/ichalalumi-abstract/article/view/378

This research was conducted with the aim of knowing and analyzing the Influence of Communication, Competence, and Workload on the Performance of Personnel in Mamuju City Police Station. This research uses a qualitative and quantitative approach by seeking the relationship (influence) of cause and effect of independent variables on the dependent variable. This research was conducted at Mamuju City Police Station, West Sulawesi. The research was carried out for approximately 2 (two) months from May to July 2023. The population and sample in this study were 36 personnel in Mamuju City Police Station. The results of this study indicate that communication (X1) with t-value 2.193 > t-table 2.036 and a significance level smaller than 0.05 (sig = 0.036 < 0.05), it can be said that communication (X1) has a positive and significant influence, competence (X2) with t-value 2.356 > t-table 2.036 and a significance level smaller than 0.05 (sig = 0.025 < 0.05), it can be said that competence (X2) has a positive and significant influence. Workload (X3) with t-value 3.872 > t-table 2.036 and a significance level smaller than 0.05 (sig = 0.001 < 0.05), it can be said that workload (X3) has a positive and significant influence. The calculated F-value is 89.283 > F-table which is 2.90 with a probability value of 0.000 which means below the significant value of 0.05. Discussions and implications are discussed.
Riefky DJ Al IdrusAchmad GaniRoslina Alama
