Quality Assessment of Health Service of Mother and Children Based-on Pasnanusa Application at the Health Service with Limited Accsess
Abstract
The pandemic period is a challenge in monitoring and evaluating it. This is because of social restrictions. One of the monitoring and evaluation solutions is through the Pasnanusa self-assessment application that can be used by Mather and Children Health service providers. The purpose of the study to assess the quality of maternal and child health services based on the Pasnanusa application in health services with limited access. This research was a descriptive study with an evaluative approach. The location of the research was carried out at the Maiwa Health Center, Enrekang Regency. The selection of the location was based on the location of the area in the outskirts where geographical access and facilities were minimal compared to other Puskesmas. Informants in this assessment were health workers who were responsible for MCH services (doctors, heads of MCH programs, nurses and midwives). The location was in the Maiwa Health Center, Enrekang Regency. The results showed that for patient safety services, the total score for ante partum was 62, intra partum 60 and post partum 60. Based on the total score, the implementation of patient safety at the Maiwa Health Center was included in the safe category. An external assessor was needed to compare with the self-assessment that has been carried out by MCH service officers at the Maiwa Health Center and the assessment is carried out periodically as a service quality control.
