Fathonah's Impact on Lecturer Performance During the Covid-19 Pandemic (Study of Khairun University)
Abstract
Background - During the COVID-19 pandemic, lecturers are required to be smarter and innovative in overcoming various problems in terms of improving their performance. Problems regarding performance are problems that will always be faced by universities, therefore management needs to know the factors that affect lecturer performance. The factors that can affect the performance of the lecturers will make the management of the university to take the necessary policies, so as to improve the performance of the lecturers to match the expectations of the college. Aim – The purpose of this study is to see how the relationship between Fathonah (Intelligence) and the performance of lecturers at Khairun University during the pandemic. Design/methodology/approach– The methods of collecting data in this study were questionnaires and interviews, the method of data analysis used descriptive quantitative methods, namely the multiple regression analysis used to measure Intellectual, Emotional and Spiritual Intelligence on Lecturer Performance at State Universities Khairun University. Finding– Based on the existing findings, fathonah has a positive influence in improving the performance of lecturers at Khairun University. Researchers see that there is a tendency of intellectual intelligence in terms of setting the time of activity as a lecturer. Research limitations– The limitation of this research is that it has not included variables such as amanah, tabligh and siddiq to support lecturer performance during the covid 19 pandemic. Originality/value– This concept may be useful for university leaders to support lecturer facilities in carrying out the tridharma of higher education and lecturers use these facilities in a timely and efficient manner
