The Influence of Corporate Value, Stock Price, Profit Growth, and Company Size on Financial Performance in Banking Companies Listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI)
Abstract
Financial performance is an analytical activity aimed at assessing the results or achievements of a company's management in effectively managing the company's assets over a specific period. This research was conducted with the objective of analyzing the influence of a company's value, stock price, profit growth, and company size on financial performance in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the period 2013-2021. The independent variables in this research were measured using price-to-book value (PBV), Return On Asset (ROA), Return On Equity (ROE), and Size. The sample in this research consisted of financial reports (annual reports) of banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) during the period 2013-2021. In this study, the hypotheses obtained were that stock price significantly influences financial performance, while company value has a positive and significant impact on financial performance, and profit growth and company size have a negative and significant influence on financial performance.
