Laptop Tracking System Based on Arduino
Abstract
Laptops are very vulnerable devices with the risk of loss. Today, security is a priority in everyday life. Therefore, protection is needed to minimize the risk of such loss. Paying attention to these problems we need a tool that can be used to track the whereabouts of the laptop so that we can find out where the laptop is located. This tool uses a GPS module that is connected to Arduino to get location coordinates then sent to the firebase database and accessed using an android application. This system can make it easier to track the location of the laptop. The system is made using a GPS module to obtain location coordinates, Arduino nano as a microcontroller, firebase database is used for data storage media and GSM module as a medium for sending data to the database. The data stored in the database is then accessed using an android application to display the data in the form of coordinate points on the map
